Colourful projects have been created with Whiffle Pig this season to ensure everyone is bringing some light into the autumnal evenings. Our community group have been creating allotment signage and upcycled pallet herb gardens to ensure that we have a really vibrant start to spring! We have also planted overwintering broad beans and peas with patients at the head injury unit from London Road Community Hospital. It has been great to see how well the donated ergonomically-designed hand tools worked for service users. These tools will make gardening a lot easier on our allotment in the warmer months. We have also been moulding and decorating mini clay air-plant holders so that patients can have safe plants by their bedside and around the hospital.
