Over the last month Three Hares have been re-introducing people to the land now that Covid-restrictions have eased. This included the big news of launching our first Forest School at the community woodland! This is an exciting partnership between Trees and Seas Outdoor Adventures and Kaimes School to provide a 12-week outdoor programme which offers learning and nourishment.

The Three Hares also welcomed a Syrian family for a day of ecotherapy and nature connection activities. It was a wonderful sunny day where the family’s enthusiasm was high having not left the city since they arrived to Scotland last March. Activities included making paint with the gorse and going for a paddle in the river! These sessions will be running for the next few weeks and are tailored specifically towards refugees and asylum seekers to facilitate greater access to wild spaces.
