On Thursday 20th February, 2020, three members of the Destitution Project travelled to London to attend an event held by the Charles Plater Trust.  The Trust has given £25,000 towards casework services at DP.  This generous donation will help us to keep our wonderful Caseworker on board so that she and her team can deliver essential support for asylum seekers.

The Charles Plater Trust is a charitable organisation dedicated to advancing the work of the late Father Charles Plater, a Jesuit Priest.  Grants are made for projects which highlight areas such as the development of lay leadership, bringing education and opportunity to the most marginalised, or developing innovative new applications of Catholic social thought and teaching.
