School Food Matters - December update

Our year ended with a sparkle when some very special visitors came along to meet our Young Marketeers at Borough Market.  Children from John Ruskin School in Southwark presented their home grown vegetables and Christmas wreaths to The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.  The Prince quizzed our green fingered friends about how on earth they managed to grow such enormous celeriac.  He was told by Amy (age 10) that it’s all about the compost! Read more about our Young Marketeers programme here http://schoolfoodmatters.org/projects/young-marketeers
