Her Majesty the Queen met Olive the Duck
On 4th July, we had the honour to welcome Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. She toured the farm and gardens, meeting many of the animals. And as you can see here, she was quite delighted when Olive the duck joined her for a stroll. Her visit is a great compliment for the farm, and a recognition of all the amazing work done by staff and volunteers.
New Critters
We’ve welcomed several new animals. We’ve been joined by lambs, piglets, calves, two baby ferrets, a guinea pig, a snake and a hedgehog. We even had a guest visit from a racing pigeon.
Public feeding of the animals re-introduced
Due to popular demand, we’ve re-introduced public feeding of some of our animals. We stopped offering this service to visitors some time ago, as some of our animals were being over-fed. We’ve now introduced limited feeding for specific animals.
