It has been a fun-filled month over at The Yard! With the October holidays in Edinburgh earlier this month, we have seen so many of our young adventurers, especially our early years members visiting us.
With Halloween coming up, we have been so busy decorating the play space in all things autumn. Of course, we wanted to let our members in on the action. Most of our play sessions have involved lots of arts and crafts and our members have created so many spooky witches, cats, and ghosts! Following the theme, one session in particular even made a beautiful autumn canvas.
For our youngest adventurers, we brought the senses of autumn indoors as we made our first ever leaf pit right in the play hall! The children loved jumping and rolling around with their friends and family. Other play sessions got to experiment with even more sensory play as we brought out foiled blankets for all kinds of fun.
As Halloween gets closer and closer, The Yard is getting reading for all of our Halloween festivities. It is a special treat for our teen clubs as we prepare for our fabulous Halloween party where everyone is invited. It is looking to be a fantastically spooky celebration!
