Vegware funding update – April 5th 2022
In March we finished the build of the Musical Forest and installed all the instruments into their new shelter! A very exciting moment for us as it had been a vision for the three hares for many years! The Musical Forest is made up of two marimbas, a bass kalimba, a cajon, pipes, shakers and chimes. The Musical Forest space has already been used unofficial by passerbys and users of the woodland and neighbouring cycle path, but we will be running official events in it throughout the summer.
The Garvald Group began using the land on a regular basis every Friday for outdoor crafting and fire.
We had our monthly conservation day and undertook tree care and the building of a bridge over a burn to open up the more forested section of our land.
