In May, preparations began for this year’s raft race. Anticipation is rising and hopes are high for a win! Join us at the Canal Festival on June 15 to see if we take another dip into the canal.
Work began on partitioning the actual Forge, with Andrew and Luca working hard to create a safe space to teach people blacksmithing skills.
Members also continued busily making their individual projects. James made another beautiful bowl on the lathe, this time out of spalted beech; Sakke made a funky steampunk lampshade; and Rosa created something functional for Forge: a rest for saws, so they can be neatly and safely stored.
