The Destitution Project (DP) ended the year with a Christmas party held at the Drop in Centre in late December. Volunteers and well-wishers kindly brought in items to share at the food table, and our friendly team from Bolton Mutual Aid also prepared a delicious soup for everyone. There were party games and also certificates were given out to some of the English students. What a lovely way to end a successful year where, with the help of its many kind supporters, DP has been able to help so many asylum seekers and refugees in the Bolton area find valuable help and friendship.
