Hard graft has been the words on everyone’s lips at the Style Acre tearoom this month. Our doors closed to complete the next part of our refurb project and along with so many volunteers, we sanded, varnished, painted, and cleaned everything! Over 100 hours of volunteer work got us to a place where we could open our doors again on and we couldn’t have done this without their help and our amazing leadership team.
The afternoon before we opened the doors to our customers, we had a social where we invited all our staff and the people we support to come and have a look at what had been happening and to make sure everyone felt settled coming back to work. They loved seeing their new kitchen, bathrooms, and shiny new floors.
Our fairy lights are up, and Christmas is in the air, and everyone is excited to be coming back to the tearoom.
