We were pleased to expand our dementia support to a new location in Orsett. Working from the Orsett and Thurrock Cricket Club we are able to run a Silver Birch Day Centre two days a week with the option of increasing to three if the demand from the local area increases. The centre is ideally located in the heart of the community and operating from a premises owned by a well respected local sports club that is embedded into the community. This has provided us with an excellent start which saw 7 people sign up on our very first day (the centre will be able to accommodate approx. 12 people per day).
