This last month we’ve begun running our Communitea sessions again, continuing to blend more herbal tea mixes and our order of plants from Poyntzfield medicinal herb nursery has arrived. We’ll be planting more endangered species and commonly used cultivated herbs into the Health Agency’s garden this year, which will hopefully be brimming with colour and herbs by the summer.
We’ve also got our first ever herbal student on a practical placement with us for one week in April. Anne Wells has travelled over from the Western Coast of America to spend one month in Scotland. She’ll be splitting her placement between us and our friends over at West Highland Herbal in Morvern. Anne is a student of Herbal Sciences at Bastyr University in Seattle, who is training to become a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in the USA. We are delighted to have her with us for a week.
