Vegware funding update – January 5th 2022
n December some of our fantastic volunteers braved the show at our last tree care day of the year. Hot cups of tea from the Kelly Kettle were warmly appreciated! We were also able to announce the success of our funding application to Visit Scotland where we’ll be taking part in their Year of Stories 2022 by running a programme with storyteller Dougie Mackay titled ‘Rekindling the Ceilidh: Storytelling through the Scottish Seasons’. This will be commencing in the new year and will include a Young People’s storytelling programme and four public events tailored to the seasons, weaving together storytelling, crafts and nature activities which mirror the time of the year. So this last month also included administration work to get this programme into motion.
