It’s been a busy few weeks here at Three Hares as we get ready for a summer packed full of events. To kick things off we had Suleman Chebe visit us to run a musical forest workshop. Suleman is an experienced community musician, educator, storyteller, and African Historian for an afternoon of outdoor group music making. We had a number of hand-made instruments for participants to try ranging from marimbas, cajon, bass kalimba, and pipes!
We also ran our monthly conservation day. This month we focussed on making sure all the access paths around our site were clear. We also cleared the braken from around some of our larger fruit tree samplings. We have regularly been host garvald on the land every week. They have been continuing their session of fires and crafting.
