Forge activity continued at a leisurely pace this February, although behind the scenes plans were afoot!
Our new MIG welder was installed in our metal container, bought with money from the Neighbourhood Partnerships grant. It will be used in our introduction to Metalwork course and will also allow Forge members to do precision welding.
Some Forge members finished ambitious projects. David completed a beautiful wooden clock, which is a wedding present for a friend. Martin completed his motorised scooter, upcycled from an old bike. It was a long and experimental project that allowed him to learn many new skills.
