Art and Craft is Alive and Well at DP
One activity that draws a constant crowd at the Destitution Project’s Drop-In Centre is what goes on at our Art and Craft table in the main hall. Anyone can join in. They get to show off their skills or can learn from each other or from our lovely lead Volunteer for Art – Diana. We now have a service user – Agnes – leading a range of new craft activities as well.
People seem to enjoy having the opportunity to be creative and to encourage each other. It’s a very important part of what is on offer every Wednesday for asylum seekers and refugees who visit our Drop-In.
