We are now in full flow with all our programmes after the winter break. A lot of our work is with schools – during February we worked with groups from schools including Tynecastle High School, Knox Academy and Pilrig Park – but we have spent some time in February preparing to launch a new programme called Green Families. Green Families will provide parents with the opportunity to come along with their children and get involved in play, craft and lots more, in some lovely greenspaces within Edinburgh. The programme will provide positive outdoor experiences for young people and help build confidence for parents who can discover new sites and new activities. The programme is open to all and will meet once a month with additional sessions planned with other organisations such as Edible Estates and LinkNet Mentoring.
Additionally, we have been working on a couple of key documents – our annual accounts and our first-ever impact report. We are delighted that these documents will highlight some amazing achievements in 2021 as well as demonstrating financial stability to continue to grow and deliver in 2022.
