Garden Gate Project - October update

Considering the seasons are changing we are still experiencing wonderful weather at the garden! At the beginning of October, we hosted our ‘Falling Leaves Arts & Crafts Festival’.  Our annual two-day festival celebrates the changing seasons and invites local schools, organisations and the community into the garden to enjoy lots of creative activities.

Various activities were delivered by participants of the garden and local community partners including raku firing, photograms in our tool shed dark room, jewellery making, printing, yoga, shiatsu, crochet, passata making, weaving, bee house making, a wonderful plant sale as well as various other arts and crafts.

As well as lots of activities we also served up wood oven fired homemade pizzas, garden produce chutneys, pumpkin soup and of course… Cake!

As we approach the end of the month we are still enjoying the sunshine and feeling very blessed to have our lovely oasis.  Thank you Vegware for your contribution 😊
