Firstly thank you so much to Vegware for continuing to support Rowanbank Environmental Arts & Education. Your support is extra valuable at this very challenging time.
Since last March most of our creative projects have been on hold. We’ve been super busy applying for funding to enable us to keep going. Luckily we have been recognised as one of Scotland’s key cultural organisations by Creative Scotland and have received some core funding through the Culture Organisations and Venues Recovery Fund. We have also been able to continue with our Forest School work since last August, which is fantastic!
Our big news is that we are getting ready to launch our new and exciting project – Positive Imaginings – a climate change circus for children! This project aims to give a voice to children from deprived areas in central Scotland and shine a light on COP26 – the international climate change conference taking place in Glasgow in November. Please find attached a short document that describes the project. We are looking to partner with an organisation that is in a position to sponsor Positive Imaginings.
