Green School Project

Green Schools Project transforms how schools respond to the climate crisis. We do this through Zero Carbon Schools, the most comprehensive climate education programme in the country.

This is needed because 90% of young people are concerned about climate change, and over 90% of teachers want more taught about climate change in schools.

Through Zero Carbon Schools, we enable children and young people to take action on climate change by designing and leading projects to reduce their schools’ carbon footprint.

Zero Carbon Schools trains teachers to deliver high-quality climate education and supports schools to involve their communities in climate and sustainability.

With Zero Carbon Schools we give teachers and pupils the tools they need to tackle the climate crisis at school, in their communities and throughout their lives.
