Edinburgh Garden Partners

Edinburgh Garden Partners (EGP) was established as a charity in 2011 and has been a SCIO since 2015.Their mission is to create a sense of belonging, improve the health and wellbeing of people living in Edinburgh, and share learning across social groups and generations.

They strive to do this by creating and supporting befriending relationships between older, disabled, or vulnerable garden owners in Edinburgh and volunteers looking for a shared space to grow. EGP model ensures that both garden owners and volunteers mutually benefit through the relationships that develop. Some of our partnerships have been running since we began!

Local people are central to the planning and delivery of all our services. We provide a range of volunteering opportunities, and could not operate without the invaluable support of these volunteers. We work in close partnership with many local organisations to address gaps in health improvement activities.
