Since October last year The Hive has been extremely busy. We are delighted to say that throughout the cold months of last year October – End of Feb 2025 we were a designated warm space in Fife. We provided free hot drinks to anyone who came into the premises and from December extended this to free soup or stovies with bread and butter ensuring that people could enjoy a free hot meal. In December we decided to set 2 dates for free Christmas dinners where people in need could enjoy socialising with each other whilst enjoying a 3-course meal consisting of Soup or pate, Turkey with all the trimmings (or nut roast for vegetarians) and mince pies with brandy cream. We had a total of 54 attendees, and it was wonderful to see the celebrations. I have included some pictures for you. We have continued to provide peer support groups and these are always busy. They include a transgender family and friends’ group, an autism group, and a fortnightly youth group.

We are extremely grateful for the generous amount of £100 we receive monthly from Vegware as it makes a huge difference to the lives of people in our community. We have a games evening in April so the funds will be put towards any resources we require for that and snacks and drinks for everyone who attends.
