NotAlone Empowerment Centre (NEC)

NotAlone Empowerment Centre (NEC) is a grassroots community organization established in December 2022 in Glasgow. We work with marginalized communities, particularly asylum seekers and refugees, to bring their ideas to life and advocate for their rights.

We supports the BAME community by building skills, sharing knowledge, and promoting equality. We empower asylum seekers, refugees, lone parents, and others through Capacity building, training, workshops, and family support, addressing physical, emotional, and educational well-being. Our programs, in collaboration with local organisations, host weekly activities to reduce isolation, promote inclusion, and tackle root causes like poverty and discrimination.

We aim to provide the necessary training and information to enhance their physical, emotional, and educational well-being, helping them develop skills, improve mental health, and envision a brighter future despite their current challenges.
