Six schools across London have been delving into the fascinating world of compost with an aim to reduce the food waste in their school and build on their innovation and enterprise skills. Students have enjoyed an educational visit to farms that specialise in composting followed by a workshop at school with a composting expert and soil scientist. We are now challenging DT students to design and build a composter which can be used in the school grounds to support the school’s food growing. Read more about the Compost Matters programme here.
