It was another busy month with the team serving around 80 people each week. We’ve noticed our homeless community staying longer for a chat and extra cup of tea at the end of our weekly Outreach, which is great because it means we’re creating a friendly atmosphere where people feel safe and comfortable.
We’re also excited because we’ve been nominated for an Airbus Community Award, and we will find out soon how much money we’ve won, which could be anything from £1,000 – £7,000! This is likely to go towards volunteer training or a van, depending on how much we get!
