Grass Roots Remedies - October Update

Our big news this month is that Susi, Audrey & Ally from the Wester Hailes Community Herbal Medicine Clinic travelled to London to the Complementary Therapy Awards. We were shortlisted for the ‘Award for Prevention & Self-Care’ for our community work.

Although we didn’t end up winning the award, we were proud to be the only Scottish finalist in any category, and learned a lot of useful information from other inspiring projects across the UK. We are encouraged to continue with our work and improve our evaluation tools to better measure the outcomes of our work, and will enter again next year!
