At Garvald we love to celebrate different festivals throughout the year, including those from other cultures.  This February we have celebrated Chinese New Year.

2019 is the Year of the Pig, and our members have been busy making various pig-related crafts and artwork, and decorated our canteen, and our Chinese members taught  us a Chinese New Year song “Gong Hey Fat Choy”.

During the cold spell, our Land Group made fat balls to hang in trees to take care of the birds.  And they have been busy crafting this week, making handmade cards, and beautiful paper and clay hearts to decorate our windows for Valentine’s Day.

We are looking forward to our next festival – Pancake Day!
